Many of our carriers are suitable for travel, but suitability for flights depends on the airline’s pet policy which can vary significantly by route, country and airline. Please check with your airline before booking.
We usually recommend a size small for dogs 4.5kgs and under, a medium carrier for dogs around 4.5kgs to 8/9kgs and a large for dogs around 10kgs.
Therefore, our small size is usually the most suitable. Our small size measures approximately 39cms in length.
Our tote bag is one size and is also usually a good fit.
Choose a time when your Chihuahua has had plenty of exercise and needs a rest. Spend time getting used to the carrier on the floor first – offering plenty or praise.
