We usually recommend choosing your Teddy Maximus dog carrier by weight first, followed by checking the length if you are unsure. A medium (up to 8/9kgs) or a large (up to 9/10kgs) is usually the best for a cockapoo. If you need more help,read here.
Choose a time when your Cockapoo has had plenty of exercise and needs a rest. Spend time getting used to the carrier on the floor first – offering plenty or praise. You could pop in a cosy blanket and even some treats. They’ll love hopping into their carrier as their cosy, happy place and will soon associate it with plenty of exciting adventures!
Many of our dog carriers are machine washable or have a removable inner cushion or liner. For everyday care, gently clean the interior and exterior with a damp soapy cloth and air dry.

Absolutely. Our carriers are soft and cosy – perfect for taking your Cockapoo puppy out to see the world together. For very small puppies, some people prefer small carriers, though some also choose a medium for longevity. If you find there is excess room inside, a handy tip is to pop a blanket inside. You can also put a knot through the trigger hook inside if you need to make it temporarily shorter.
