How to Keep Your Dog Carrier Bag in Perfect Condition

- We recommend brushing the inside of your dog carrier with a lint roller, pet hair remover or even a vacuum to remove any build up of dog hairs and keep it looking fresh. 

- For our fabric carriers, spot cleaning is recommended for any specific areas that need attention. Use a dampened cloth with a gentle soap.  Allow the carrier to air dry fully in a well-ventilated area before its next use.

- For a full over clean, our Teddy Maximus dog carriers with webbing straps are fully washable and the whole thing can be put in the washing machine. Keep to a delicate/gentle cycle at no more than 30 degrees celcius and a 400-600rpm spin. Reshape whilst damp and air dry.

- Our carriers with leather straps come with a removable washable cushion.This can be washed a delicate/gentle cycle at no more than 30 degrees celcius and a 400-600rpm spin. Reshape whilst damp and air dry.

- Our tote bag carriers come with a handy removable insert which can be hand washed for a quick refresh

- Many of our dog carriers come with a wipeable water resistant base.If you don't fancy putting the whole thing in the washing machine, your base can be wiped clean with a warm soapy cloth. Avoid any areas near leather straps to avoid colour staining.

- For a quick boost between washes, a pet bed spray can come in handy, providing a fresh scent and deodorising properties. 

- Consider popping in a cosy fleece blanket into your carrier so that it can be easily removed and thrown into the wash when you want to refresh your carrier - that way you can still carry on using your dog bag for your daily adventures together!

- To keep your carrier in tip top shape, store upright and consider hanging up on a peg or on a shelf (if your dog will let you!).
