Happy Friday everyone! We are loving the 8 facts challenge at the moment and thought we would share some here for our new followers: 1. Daisy is 3 years old. 2. She weighs 3.5kg. 3. She gets very attached to her friends and still does an excited wee when she sees them 🙈. 4. She makes grunting sounds when cuddling people and wants to be cuddled 99% of the time. 5. Daisy is named Daisy because we previously had a dachshund named Daffy who was killed by a car 🌈 💔. Daffy’s breeder named him after the Daffodil flower (he was a Welsh boy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿) but everyone thought he was named after Daffy Duck. We like to think that he is still with us in spirit so we named Daisy after Daisy Duck 🦆. 6. Daisy was a nightmare sleeper as a puppy. She howled solidly throughout night for 4 weeks! Thankfully, after some persistent crate training, she will sleep for 12 hours easily without a peep 🛌. 7. Daisy has hip dysplasia in both hips (something quite common in dachshunds). It still doesn’t keep her from chasing after 🐿! 8. Daisy loves the sound of music and will fall asleep when it starts playing. We think this is because we have taken her to a lot of rehearsals from day 1 🎼.
